Fight for MPP at Washington Legislative Conference, Feb. 15-16
The 2012 Washington Legislative Conference, February 15-16, provides an essential opportunity to lobby for the Market Pricing Program (MPP) as a replacement to the competitive bidding program and to bring other vital HME issues to the attention of your members of Congress.
During February, Congress will likely take up Medicare “doc fix” legislation to prevent physician pay cuts under the sustainable growth rate. The current short-term “doc fix,” passed in late December, expires at the end of February, so the Legislative Conference comes at a critical time for the HME sector. AAHomecare staff is working now to secure appointments with congressional offices for the Capitol Hill Lobby Day on the second day of the conference, February 16, so don’t delay your registration.
Join your peers in the HME sector for this essential opportunity to meet with your congressional delegation, receive briefings from Washington experts, and hear from members of Congress who will speak to our group.
